A note from Sandy Rich regarding The Support groups Reiki Instruction.
Great meeting, it was enhanced by the Reiki sessions offered to all of us by Angel and her wonderful group of practitioners. Many of these terrific women drove from western Nassau County to share their expertise with us. For those of you who missed it, it was a terrific experience. After telling us briefly about Reiki, we were led in a lovely meditation before splitting into 2 groups---the eight practitioners teamed up and each of us received a treatment llasting about 45 minutes. I was in the second group so watched and waited and said to myself : 'Well, this looks and sounds interesting, but I really don't think I am going to feel anything." I am always willing to be proven wrong and I was!
Angel and Lorraine treated me---Angel's hand exude an amazing warmth which is remarkable since she has Raynaud's Symdrome---people with this condition experience spasms in distal capillaries of their hands and therefore they have icy cold hands!! From Lorraine's gifted hands I felt a pulsating rhythm---figured it MUST BE my breathing so held my breath and still felt ithis energy. The treatment was very soothing and relaxing and left me with a sense of calm and well being.
